About Joan...  

 

Joan has been immersed in every aspect of real estate almost since she  was born. Her parents were prominent builders that developed and constructed numerous residential and commercial projects in and around Atlanta. Having inherited the same passion for real estate, she earned her license in 1982 and joined the family corporation handling property acquisitions for the firm as well as building a base of residential clients on her own.

After working for several of Atlanta's top brokerage firms, she decided that there was a better way to help clients buy or sell their property, a more personal approach… So she took the  next step in 1995 and founded Atlanta Realty Group as the Owner and Managing Broker. She brought together a group of experienced brokers and associates that share her commitment to highly personalized, customer focused service.

In the next chapter of her real estate career, she relocated to Amelia Island Florida and opened Amelia Realty Group, llc. First licensed as a Florida Realtor in 1986, she has owned property on Amelia since 2007 and has renovated numerous homes around the island. The techniques she developed in Atlanta... her innovative, internet-centric marketing plans, attention to detail and the highest level of individualized service, are now helping clients on gorgeous Amelia Island!

And, just recently she and her husband, Joe, purchased a home in Colorado and opened up a branch of her company there!  Splitting their time between Florida and Colorado gives them the best of both worlds!! And they enjoy working with clients in both locations.

Joan and Joe have a son and daughter-in-law who live in Chicago and a daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter who live in Denver.  They also own and manage a gorgeous oceanfront vacation rental.  See more about that here...
